Plain language: reply.green is a tool you use to operate your own WhatsApp + Shopify business. We give you the software; you bring the store, the customers, and the WhatsApp number. These terms cover what we promise to do, what we expect from you, and the boring legal bits.
1. The service
reply.green is a multi-tenant SaaS that connects merchant Shopify stores with the WhatsApp Cloud API, wires an LLM agent in between, and gives merchants tools to configure persona, manage conversations, and view results.
2. Your account
- You sign up with a mobile number and password. Future versions support WhatsApp OTP login. You're responsible for keeping credentials safe.
- One account can manage multiple stores. Each store is identified by a unique slug + WhatsApp phone number ID.
- You may not use one account on behalf of someone else without their explicit permission.
3. Connecting a Shopify store
You connect a store by providing its public URL. reply.green probes the Shopify storefront API to confirm the URL responds. You confirm that you have the right to connect this store— either as the merchant of record or with the merchant's explicit authorisation. Connecting a store you don't own may infringe the merchant's rights and we may suspend the account on report.
Today's ownership check is "first to claim". A more rigorous Shopify OAuth verification is on the roadmap.
4. Connecting WhatsApp
You provide your own Meta App credentials (phone number ID, access token, app secret, verify token). reply.green uses them only to send and receive messages on your behalf. You remain the entity registered with Meta and bound by Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy.
5. LLM provider
You choose the LLM provider (Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude) and provide your own API key. We pass your prompts and tool calls through. Token cost is yours; we don't mark it up. Provider availability and policies are theirs to enforce.
6. What reply.green doesn't do
- We are not a payment processor. Checkout always happens on Shopify's checkout pages. PCI scope stays with Shopify.
- We are not a customer-support replacement. The agent answers within the boundaries you configure; complex disputes get routed to your support email.
- We are not a marketing-broadcast tool today. Every message reply.green sends is in response to a customer-initiated message, inside the 24-hour WhatsApp service window. Outbound templated messaging is on the roadmap.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use reply.green to:
- Operate stores selling categories prohibited by Meta's WhatsApp Commerce Policy (firearms, drugs, real-money gambling, certain regulated goods).
- Impersonate another business's store without authorisation.
- Spam, deceive, or otherwise manipulate shoppers through the agent.
- Reverse-engineer our APIs in ways that exceed your own merchant's legitimate use.
8. Pricing & billing
reply.green operates on a Bring-Your-Own-Model basis. You pay your LLM provider (Google AI Studio, Anthropic, etc.) directly, at their published rates. reply.green does not mark up, resell, or invoice you for token usage.
reply.green charges a platform subscription tied to your plan (Starter, Growth, Pro, Scale) — based on number of stores, seats, and feature scope. The current plans are listed on the Pricing page. Indian merchants are billed 18% GST on top of plan fees. Paid plans activate after we exit beta; while we're in beta the platform itself is free at all tier levels.
WhatsApp messaging fees (Meta's conversation pricing) are billed by Meta to the merchant's own WhatsApp Business Account. reply.green does not handle or invoice for those.
9. Data & privacy
See the Privacy policy. In short: we store the minimum needed to run the agent, your tokens are yours, your conversation data is yours, we don't sell anything.
10. Service availability
We make a best-effort commitment to keep reply.green running. We don't offer a contractual uptime SLA in beta. Outages happen; we'll communicate them.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by Indian law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim — or, in beta, ₹0. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We can terminate or suspend an account that violates these terms or Meta's WhatsApp policies, or that is reported as impersonating a store.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to courts in the operator's registered jurisdiction (to be set on incorporation; placeholder for now).
14. Changes
We'll update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged before they take effect.
